My dry scalp is now manageable with this shampoo. It moisturizes, leaves no residue, and works well for thick, oily hair.

I tried several different shampoos and conditioners. My scalp gets very dry, then ingrown hairs, infected hair follicles.. it sucks a lot.

Everyone is different and how their body responds to things. This works for me. Moisturizes, doesn’t leave a film or any residue. I have really thick medium length hair that tends to be oily.

I wash typically 2-4 times a week depending on activities. I still use other moisturizers for my hair and scalp after drying but my scalp is noticeably not dry prior to additional moisturizer. It’s also not oily as mentioned. I had not found a combo that worked this well other than dr bronner’s baby soap formula followed with a diluted either lemon juice or cider vinegar rinse (left soap residue, the rinse helped clear it).

The conditioner is very thick. Somewhere between semi softened coconut oil or maybe honey that’s formed a bunch of solids. If you can store it cap side down it make it easy, otherwise just bumping the cap side on your palm as you would a nearly empty ketchup bottle, works great.

Smells really great too which is subjective, but I’m a big big fan.
