This shampoo transformed my straight hair with lasting volume, invigorating scent, and great value—highly recommend!
Switching to this shampoo gave my straight hair incredible volume, a revitalizing fragrance, and long-lasting value—no more heaviness, just healthier locks!
This is a review from Amazon.com about product:
Tea Tree Lemon Sage Thickening Conditioner, Builds Body + Boosts Volume, For Fine Hair, 33.8 fl. oz.

I have straight hair and sometimes it's quite heavy so I figure to try this product as it does have great reviews. After three weeks of using this shampoo and conditioner every other day and I do feel and see that my hair seems more fuller than before I started to use this product.
Fyi, I've used mainly old spice and dove in the past and there is definitely a difference in how my hair feels after so I honestly don't mind this price as it will last me for quite some time. Plus the scent is great, feels invigorating as you smell it and wakes up your inner senses. Definitively recommend!
Shampoo Basics & Tips
Understanding Hair Care Performance Factors
Fuller Hair Appearance: The perceived volume comes from shampoo formulas containing polymers that coat hair strands, creating optical thickness. Ingredients like hydrolyzed wheat protein help bind to keratin for structural support.
Heavy Straight Hair Challenges
Straight hair tends to lie flat due to gravity and natural oil distribution. Clarifying shampoos like Old Spice may strip oils excessively, while Dove's moisturizing formulas could weigh hair down—this product's balanced formulation addresses both issues.
Olfactory Impact in Hair Products
The "invigorating scent" typically comes from essential oil blends (e.g., citrus, mint) that stimulate trigeminal nerves. This creates a perceived freshness boost, enhancing user experience beyond basic cleansing.
Cost-Per-Wash Calculations
While pricier upfront, salon-quality shampoos often use concentrated formulas requiring smaller amounts per use. A 12oz bottle used every other day lasts ≈4 months (0.3oz per wash), making long-term costs comparable to drugstore brands.
Cuticle Smoothing Mechanism
The conditioner likely contains cationic surfactants that flatten hair cuticles, reducing friction and creating the "lighter feel" described. This contrasts with wax-based products that temporarily smooth but cause buildup over time.
