I experienced less hair loss after 60 days with shampoo, though dryness.
Over sixty days of use, this shampoo has significantly reduced my hair loss and thinning, which I appreciate. However, I've encountered dryness and flaking, so I plan to continue while asking about a paired conditioner.

Uttse Biotion Hair Growth Shampoo for Men: Natural Thickening Shampoo with Tea Tree Oil Ginseng Mint for Hair Loss and Thinning Hair - 10.1 fl.oz, Dark Blue

I’d say so far I’m satisfied. Iv been using the shampoo for at least 60 days. I don’t know if Iv noticed new hair growth but I can tell that I’m not loosing or thinning like I was before I started. I should have taken before and after pictures but hindsight’s 20/20. I will definitely continue using the product. I’d like to know if there is a conditioner recommended by the manufacturer to go with it? I have noticed my hair feels dry and some flaking.
Shampoo Basics & Tips
Understanding Hair Loss Reduction from Shampoo Use
In the review, the user mentions not noticing new hair growth but observing reduced hair loss and thinning after 60 days of shampoo use. Hair loss, or alopecia, can be caused by factors like genetics, stress, or nutritional deficiencies. Shampoos designed for hair loss often contain ingredients like caffeine, biotin, or ketoconazole, which may improve scalp health and strengthen hair follicles by increasing blood flow or reducing inflammation. However, results vary per individual, and consistent use over months is typically needed to see changes, as hair growth cycles last around 2-3 months. It's common not to see new growth immediately, but reduced shedding can be an early positive sign.
Causes and Solutions for Dry Hair and Dandruff
The user reports dry hair and flaking, which could indicate dandruff or a dry scalp. Dandruff is often due to a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia, leading to irritation and flaking, while dry hair can result from overwashing, harsh shampoos, or environmental factors. Using a moisturizing shampoo with ingredients like aloe vera or tea tree oil can help. Additionally, the user's inquiry about a conditioner highlights its importance: conditioners add moisture, reduce frizz, and protect hair from damage. For optimal results, choose a conditioner matching your shampoo type, and avoid hot water washes to prevent dryness.
General Shampoo Knowledge and Common Questions
Shampoos are essential for cleaning scalp and hair by removing dirt, oil, and product buildup. When selecting a shampoo, consider your hair type (e.g., oily, dry, or color-treated) and look for sulfate-free formulas if prone to dryness. Common issues include how often to shampoo (typically 2-3 times a week for most hair types) and whether to use conditioner (yes, as it restores moisture lost during washing). For hair loss concerns, patience is key, and combining shampoo with a healthy diet rich in vitamins like Biotin can enhance effects. Always patch-test new products to avoid adverse reactions.
