I love the shampoo but don't need the conditioner, it's too expensive alone

This is a review from Amazon.com about product:

TIGI Bed Head Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner Set for Dry Hair, Moisture Maniac Hair Care with Argan Oil, 25.36 fl oz, 2 Pack

Our Shampoo Review and Conditioning Experience

We love the shampoo but don’t need the conditioner. One can buy the shampoo by itself by it is almost twice the price as buying the pair. So we now have 12 bottles of conditioner and they will go to waste. Very sad.

Shampoo Basics & Tips

Shampoo Product Knowledge Explanation

1. Shampoo vs. Conditioner: Shampoo is used to clean the scalp and hair by removing dirt, oil, and product buildup. Conditioner is applied after shampooing to smooth the hair cuticle, add moisture, and make hair easier to manage. In this review, the user prefers only the shampoo and finds the conditioner unnecessary.

2. Pricing Strategy: The review mentions that buying the shampoo alone is almost twice as expensive as buying the shampoo and conditioner together. This is a common marketing tactic where products are sold in pairs at a discounted rate, encouraging customers to buy both even if they don't need them all.

3. Product Waste: The user has accumulated 12 bottles of conditioner, which they cannot use, leading to waste. This highlights the importance of product flexibility—offering the option to purchase individual items can prevent such situations.

4. Consumer Preference: Not everyone needs a conditioner, especially those with oily hair or who prefer a lighter feel. This review reflects a growing trend among consumers who want more control over their product choices.

5. Target Audience: This shampoo is ideal for individuals with normal to dry hair who desire a rich lather and pleasant scent. It may not be suitable for those with very oily scalps or sensitive skin unless formulated without harsh chemicals. For best results, apply the shampoo to wet hair, massage the scalp for 1–2 minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Use every 2–3 days depending on hair type and lifestyle.
