Kitsch Castor Oil Shampoo Bar & Coconut Oil Deep-Moisturizing Conditioner Bar - Hydrating for Dull & Dry Hair, Strengthen & Restore Damage Hair, 2pc Set

This stuff is awesome! I’ve been using herbal essence sulfate free stuff and bedheads and wanted to find something that would help with hair fall and scalp health. I have black thick wavy, Hawaiian type hair. It’s pretty healthy with minimal split ends but it’s frizzy and always falling out. So far I love the way it makes my hair feel - like it was washed at the salon. I also started using their scalp oil so hopefully with all this combined my hair fall will minimize and my hair will finally not be half baby hairs lol
Shampoo Basics & Tips
Understanding Sulfate-Free Formulas
Sulfate-free shampoos omit harsh detergents (SLS/SLES) that strip natural oils. Ideal for colored or dry hair, they gently cleanse while maintaining scalp pH balance. Herbal Essences and Bed Head alternatives often contain milder surfactants derived from coconut or sugar.
Hair Fall Prevention Strategies
Hair loss can stem from scalp inflammation, protein deficiency, or mechanical damage. This shampoo likely contains strengthening proteins (keratin) and circulation-boosting ingredients (caffeine, biotin) to reduce breakage. Combined with scalp oil massages, it improves follicle nutrition delivery.
Frizz Control Mechanics
Humectants like glycerin in shampoos help wavy/curly hair retain moisture, reducing frizz. Silicone alternatives (dimethicone-free) often use natural oils (argan, coconut) that smooth hair cuticles without buildup. The salon-like finish suggests effective cuticle alignment.
Scalp Health Fundamentals
A balanced scalp microbiome prevents dandruff and hair loss. Look for zinc pyrithione, tea tree oil, or salicylic acid in complementary products. The mentioned scalp oil likely contains sebum-regulating ingredients like squalane or niacinamide.
Wavy Hair Care Tips
For Hawaiian-type waves: 1) Use wide-tooth combs 2) Apply products to soaking wet hair 3) Microfiber towels reduce friction 4) Sleep on silk pillowcases 5) Refresh curls with water-oil sprays between washes.
