My Hard Water Shampoo Solution

We have hard water and I've struggled with my hair a lot since we moved from California to the PNW. My hair wasn't feeling as clean as I'd like and my scalp was becoming sensitive (my husband was having the same trouble).

I heard about the hard water cleansing packets by Malibu and thought they might help. I bought the packets in a bundle with Malibu's hard water shampoo and conditioner. I have wavy to curly hair, it's fine but there is a lot of it. The packet was a little messy and felt like too much work to use regularly, but I love the shampoo and conditioner! I came back when the shampoo ran out to grab a big bottle of the shampoo, I think it's becoming a holy grail product for me. I don't need to use a lot and it lasts awhile.

For those who are scent sensitive, the scent is fine, very mild. Truthfully I don't really like the smell, but it also doesn't stick around, so no big deal. The results are worth the couple minutes of "meh" scent while I lather the shampoo in.
