This shampoo lathers very good. A little goes along way and does leaves your hair feeling soft and clean. The scent has notes of leather, tobacco and an undertone of vanilla. I personally dislike strong overpowering smells and the scent immediately hit me when I washed my hair with this shampoo. I thought the scent would go away once I rinsed my hair but that was not the case. The scent lingers for quite sometime after leaving the shower. It does leave hair feeling clean and adds moisture to the hair but I did not like the scent. If you like strong scents then you will like this shampoo
