Okara Silver made my grey hair soft, shiny, and blue-toned, but it tangled and lacked volume for my oily scalp compared to other products.

My Okara Silver Shampoo Review for Blue-Toned Grey Hair

I found that Okara Silver left my grey hair soft, shiny and full of body with definite bluer tones. You can see in the photo that this shampoo has darker purple pigments than Jhirmack's Silver shampoo, my favorite shampoo for silver tones. I also used Okara Silver conditioner which, like other Rene Furterer conditioners, is light and rinses out completely but leaves your hair a bit tangly.

However, because I have no gold tones in my hair, the color was not particularly flattering. While my hair still looked good on the second day, it did not have as much body as when I use Rene Furterer's Curbica. For my oily scalp, the best combination is Curbica shampoo with Pantene Age Defy conditioner.

This shampoo (and conditioner) is best for someone trying to minimize yellow tones in their hair and who doesn't have oily hair and scalp.
