This is a review from Amazon.com about product:
OGX Anti-Hair Fall + Coconut Caffeine Strengthening Shampoo with Caffeine, Coconut Oil & Coffee Extract, 13 Fl Oz

It smells amazing (exactly like those coffee candies) but the smell is gone as soon as you wash your hair off. I notice when I check my orders, this says "unscented". Well, please make a scented version that lasts the whole day for the scent lovers!
I added a bit of it on my slightly wet hands and massaged my (dry) hair with it but the scent just dissipates after a minute. So there's no way to keep the smell on you.
Update 12/01/23: It took 2 months and about 25 days before it ran out. I shower every night and it kept my hair from getting oily until 16 hours later. I only massaged the product on my scalp and kept it on for 2-3 minutes, and I let the soap run down my hair. I guess this shampoo did help to keep my hair from falling, but not entirely. About 10-20 strands still fall off during shower, not counting those that end up to the tub. I suppose the conditioner helped so much more in keeping my hair from falling, so I’d say just keep your hair from getting tangled and it will help. You can use argan oil too. I also just received news regarding this brand that doesn’t make it look good. As much as I love the amazing sweet coffee smell, I won’t be buying again. Not like it can make my hair smell like coffee all day long, anyway.
My OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo Review: What the Formula Does
This OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is a strengthening, caffeine coconut shampoo designed for tired-looking hair. The product description promises volume, reduced breakage, and a gentle formula that is sulfated surfactant free and paraben free. In my experience, the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is best understood as a cosmetic cleanser that supports detangling and helps hair feel stronger, not as a medical treatment for hair loss. That distinction matters because "anti-hair fall" marketing can sound more dramatic than a rinse-off shampoo can realistically deliver. The Caffeine Coconut Strength positioning makes more sense when you focus on cleansing, conditioning, and reducing mechanical breakage.
Caffeine, Coconut Oil, and Coffee Extract Explained
Caffeine is often added to scalp products because it may temporarily stimulate circulation and give hair a refreshed feel, but evidence that shampoo alone regrows hair is limited. Coconut oil can help condition and reduce dryness, while coffee extract adds antioxidant-style marketing appeal and the sweet coffee scent noted in the review. White tea extract, also listed in the product description, is used for antioxidant positioning. In this OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo, these ingredients support the idea of a caffeine coconut shampoo, but they do not replace a dermatologist's advice if shedding is persistent. The Caffeine Coconut Strength claim is therefore best read as a strengthening and sensory benefit rather than a guaranteed solution.
Hair Fall, Breakage, and Realistic Expectations
The reviewer noticed about 10 to 20 strands falling during showers and said the conditioner seemed to help more by preventing tangles. That is an important point: many people normally shed dozens of hairs a day, and shampooing can loosen hairs already in the resting phase. A detangling conditioner, gentle handling, and argan oil can reduce pulling and breakage. The OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo may help hair feel stronger and look fuller, but it should not be expected to stop all shedding. If you want a caffeine coconut shampoo for fine hair, use it consistently, condition after rinsing, and avoid aggressive towel drying. This is where the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo can fit into a realistic routine.
Scent, Oil Control, and Drying Trade-Offs
The review praises the coffee-candy scent but notes that it disappears after rinsing; that is normal for a rinse-off shampoo. A lasting coffee scent usually requires a leave-in product, not a caffeine coconut shampoo. The reviewer also saw an "unscented" label on the order, which shows how marketplace listings can be confusing or inconsistent. Oil control lasted about 16 hours for this reviewer, but that result depends on scalp type, humidity, and cleansing habits. Some users find the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo moisturizing, while others find it drying, especially if they shampoo daily. Sulfated surfactant free and paraben free do not automatically mean moisturizing for every hair type. If dryness appears, reduce frequency or use a richer conditioner.
Who May Like This Caffeine Coconut Shampoo?
People with fine hair who want volume, easier detangling, softness, and a pleasant coffee scent may enjoy this OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo. The product description highlights all hair types, strengthening, shine, and a gentle formula, while reviews mention soft, smooth texture. Value is mixed: some users think it is worth the price, while others consider it too expensive for a shampoo. Brand reputation also matters to the reviewer, who decided not to repurchase. For shoppers comparing a caffeine coconut shampoo, the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is a reasonable option if expectations stay focused on cleansing, conditioning, and reduced breakage. Caffeine Coconut Strength is a useful marketing phrase, but ingredient labels and routine matter more than the name alone.
Final Take on OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo
My take is that the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo works best as a strengthening caffeine coconut shampoo for softness, volume, and detangling support. It may help hair feel stronger and reduce some breakage, but it is not a cure for hair loss, and its coffee scent will not last all day. The Caffeine Coconut Strength concept is appealing, yet users should judge the OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo by their own scalp comfort, shedding pattern, and conditioning routine. If you want a gentle, paraben-free shampoo with a coffee scent and realistic anti-breakage benefits, this OGX Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is worth considering; if you need medical hair-loss treatment, ask a professional.
