This is a review from Amazon.com about product:
Celeb Luxury Colorwash Color Depositing Shampoo - Color Refresher, Vegan Hair Dye, Bondfix Bond Rebuilder, Viral and Gem Lites

Product is very strong!!!! I put on my bare hands and after 10 seconds I panicked. My hands turned purple and I had to wash it multiple times to get it off. It does help you retain the color but this is not your everyday shampoo. I would say this is a coloring shampoo. I would definitely buy again but given the fact that I need to be wearing gloves I will not be using this as my regular washing.
My First Experience With a Strong Color-Depositing Shampoo
When I tried this shampoo, I quickly learned why it is not an everyday shampoo. The product feels heavy and extremely pigmented. Within ten seconds of touching it with my bare hands, my palms turned purple and I panicked. I had to wash my hands several times to remove the stain. Even so, this shampoo retains color better than many standard color-safe formulas I have used. It restored the brightness of my chemically treated hair and gave me that just-colored look.
What the Product Introduction Tells Us
The product page lists the brand as Celeb Luxury, the item form as liquid, the hair type as chemically treated, and the scent as unscented. It is also ranked as a color conditioner. This means the shampoo is designed for color-treated hair. Instead of only cleaning, it deposits pigment into the hair cuticle. That pigment refreshes your current color and helps to extend the life of salon color. This is why a shampoo that retains color is so helpful for people with dyed hair.
Why Does It Turn Hands Purple?
The shampoo turns hands purple because of the same pigments that make it effective. Color-depositing formulas contain dye molecules that bind easily to protein and moisture. Your hands have skin with protein, so the dye attaches quickly. The reviewer's hands turned purple after ten seconds because there was no barrier between the skin and the dye. Wearing gloves prevents this problem. If you still get pigment on your skin, a little oil-based cleanser or repeated washing can help remove it, but prevention is easier.
Is This a Coloring Shampoo or an Everyday Shampoo?
The reviewer calls it a coloring shampoo, and that is exactly right. It is not meant for daily use. A color-depositing shampoo should be used once or twice a week, or every other wash, depending on your desired intensity. Using it daily can over-pigment the hair, and some customers report unwanted color shifts. In fact, other customer reviews mention hair turning green after one use. That can happen when cool or blue pigments build up on very porous, lightened, or chemically treated hair. The safest approach is to start slowly and test on a small strand.
How This Shampoo Retains Color and Keeps Hair Looking Fresh
In my experience, this shampoo retains color and revives faded tones. It makes the hair feel clean and the color look more vivid. The fact that it is a liquid formula helps the pigment spread through the hair evenly. Because the product is unscented, it does not add a heavy fragrance, which can be good for sensitive noses. If you need a shampoo that retains color and strengthens the life of your color treatment, this type of color-depositing shampoo is worth trying.
Important Tips for Using a Shampoo That Retains Color
Always wear gloves. Apply the shampoo to wet or damp hair, not directly to your scalp if you are worried about staining. Leave it on for only the time stated on the label, then rinse with cool or lukewarm water. You can also follow with a conditioner or a mask. Many color-depositing formulas can be drying because they often contain stronger surfactants or pigment carriers. The Celeb Luxury product appears in the Best Sellers Rank under Color Conditioners, and the review shows that it is intense. A small amount is enough to make a visible difference.
What Other Reviews Say
Positive comments mention that the shampoo works well and gives intense color. Some people love a pink hint, and many appreciate the quality and pleasant smell, even though this version is listed as unscented. Negative feedback often focuses on staining, green color change, dryness, and mixed feelings about price. These issues are common with color-depositing products. The key is to use the product correctly: with gloves, on damp hair, and not every day. If you follow that routine, you can get the benefit without the mess.
Final Thought: A Shampoo That Retains Color Needs Respect
I would definitely buy this product again, but I will not use it as my regular shampoo. It is too strong for that. Instead, I keep it as a weekly color-refreshing treatment. It stains bare hands, so gloves are required, but the color payoff is impressive. If you want a shampoo that retains color and gives a brilliant result, this Celeb Luxury shampoo can be an excellent choice. Just remember: it is a coloring shampoo, not an everyday cleanser.
